US
multimedia messaging app SnapChat has set an important milestone by surpassing
its contemporary platform.
SnapChat,
the world's best photo sharing app, has launched a drone camera for selfie
enthusiasts.
The company says that the state-of-the-art yellow drone, launched under the name 'Pixie', enables users to capture the best images and video without the need for a selfie stick.
Pixie
was initially released to users in France and the United States, but has not
been introduced in the UK, as the UK has strict rules on drone flying.
SnapChat
claims that Pixie independently transfers flying videos and photos directly to
the operator's mobile application.
This
selfie drone also lands on your hand after completing the flight. It should be
noted that not only SnapChat but also other social media platforms are focusing
on their hardware and augmented reality.
SnapChat
has over 300 million daily active users worldwide. While in more than 20
countries around the world, 75% of its users are between the ages of 13 and 34.
However,
SnapChat has not received much attention compared to platforms like Facebook
and Twitter. SnapChat is also known for its augmented reality 'lenses' in
mobile phones.
